The Brownstone Building OPD Dental program is dedicated to providing comprehensive Dental Hygiene care, General Dentistry and Oral Maximal Facial Surgical treatments. Staffing includes full time and part time dentists, dental surgeons, and residents in training as well as dental hygienists and dental assistants. A high standard of excellence in personalized dental care enables us to provide exceptional dental services for our patients. We offer a full range of services that are offered Monday thru Friday 8:15am-4:30PM.
Services include the following:
General Dentistry (for both adults & kids), Dental Cleanings & Exams, Cosmetic Dentistry, Crowns & Bridges, Fillings, Root Canal Therapy, Extractions, Bonding, Fluoride Treatment, Teeth Whitening, Dental Implants, Dentures, and Periodontal treatments.
Job Summary:
Responsible for full range of administrative support functions in a busy dental office setting ranging from scheduling appointments; Oral surgery cases for multiple providers, verifying insurance status, calling pharmacies, billing patients and insurance companies, scanning into electronic medical record, and triaging phone calls from patients, physicians and insurance companies while maintaining patient and business confidentiality to ensure internal and external customer expectations are met. Must be a team player who can interact in a professional manner at all times; is self-motivated and detail oriented. Reports to assigned supervisor/manager.
Qualifications
• Associates Degree preferred. Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
• High School diploma required
• One to two years’ experience in a medical / dental office setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical / dental terminology required.
• Basic keyboarding skills with proficiency in use of personal computer programs.
• Knowledge of medical / dental billing and coding preferred i.e. CPT and ICD9 coding.
• Excellent communication skills.
