The Nursing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the philosophy, purpose and objectives governing the Nursing Department at MidState. Ensures the administrative, educational and clinical link on off-shift and weekends. Facilitates the effective utilization of resources (people, financial and material) by providing feedback to appropriate individuals on off-shift issues, and understanding how the function links to MidState's core strategies and translating that linkage into operational priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in required, Registered Nurse with a valid CT license required. Previous experience in managing and developing people and programs, specific experience may be required. Previous IV skills required with the ability to achieve expertise within 3 months. Strong communication and negotiating skills also required, both written and verbal. CPR and ACLS certification required (or must be achieved within 6 months.
