Job Description


The Hartford HealthCare Access Center is the central access point for scheduling which will provide timely, accurate, friendly, and clinically appropriate access to Medical Group and other ambulatory services.  The Manager-Access Optimization and Integration will collaborate cross-functionally with the broader Access Workgroup teams, as well as groups and stakeholders from specialty practices across the organization.
Provider oversight of teams.  Preparing for Access Scheduling Operations Workgroup Meetings and Provide on-going support to optimizing practices in developing standardization, improvement to scheduling, registration and patient access.

The manager is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of the Access Scheduling Operations Workgroups including management and leadership of processes/functions supporting the continuous improvement of Medical Group operations and workflow integration of new practices. The incumbent is accountable for providing consultative services, strategic planning and execution, working with business partners to identify key questions and gaps in knowledge that can be addressed to ensure the success of the business and improve the customer experience, both internal & external. Key areas of focus will be partnerships with operations, IT services, Revenue cycle, Strategy on prioritization and optimization activities to support business needs, developing, optimizing, and approving new workflows, and providing expertise & resources to support the successful integration of new practices, providers, and service lines to the access center. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or equivalent work-related experience in the field preferred.   Master’s Degree preferred.
•    Minimum 3 years of health care experience required.
•    2 years + of program management or supervisory experience required.

Deep understanding of clinical practice operations preferred.
Experience leading significant change management preferred.
