Hartford HealthCare, the largest and most integrated healthcare system in Connecticut, has a new opportunity for an Oncology Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant, to join our growing team to provide value-based care to Neuro Oncology Patients. This Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) will have split time between Hartford Hospital and St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Fairfield County, with plan to transition completely to the Fairfield Region as the practice grows.

Some highlights of this Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) opportunity include:

  • Neuro Oncology Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners (APRN) will be involved in the spectrum of outpatient management inclusive of urgent visits, chemotherapy pre-treatment visits, follow up appointments, and ongoing survivorship care.
  • M-F day time schedule with both outpatient and inpatient rounding & consults and potential for on call coverage

Qualifications

  • Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA), or Nurse Practitioner (APRN), is required.
  • Eligibility to be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA), or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) is required.
  • Oncology experience as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner (APRN), or RN is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is highly preferred.
