Job Shift: Shift 1
Shift Details: Openings available across all shifts, 7a-330p, 3p-1130p, 11p-730a Rotating weekends and holidays required.

Position Description
Performs delegated functions as a member of the patient care delivery system to provide the following services: non urgent patient transportation from one patient care unit to another and patient discharge transportation as deemed appropriate. These activities contribute to meeting the health care, safety and comfort needs of patients and are performed in accordance with all existing regulatory and hospital standards, policies and procedures. Reports to Patient Support Services Dispatcher.

 

 

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR Validation within 3 months of hire.
• Customer service experience highly preferred.
• Must possess effective communication skills.
• Demonstrates ability to read, write and speak English.
• Physical effort as specified by Position Physical Requirements and Occupational Exposures Form.
