Job Summary


In this role the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide nursing care in support of the treatment plans under the supervision of a registered nurse.  They will assists with treatments and procedures, and carries out selected interventions within the framework of the established care plan.   Also incorporates the needs and behavior of the patient’s specific age group in planning and providing care.  Performs additional related nursing activities with direction and guidance from an RN.     


Current LPN license in the state of Connecticut.

Basic CPR certification

  • Competence in nursing and technical skills.
  • Able to follow directions during an emergency situation.
  • Knowledge of emergency equipment consistent with area of practice.
  • Demonstrates dependability by adhering to work schedules.
  • Functions effectively when priorities change.
  • Perform basic Mathematics
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate or provide care with diverse populations
  • Ability to lift and move patients, stretchers and equipment.
  • Ability to spend prolonged periods of time walking and/or standing.
