The Testing Associate will perform non-clinical tasks associated with COVID testing collection while ensuring safety and sterility.  Properly identify patients and collect swab sample either oropharyngeal swabs, anterior swabbing or Patient Self-Swabbing using knowledge of practices regarding proper methods of specimen collection. Confirms identification of patients, controls flow of cars, and walk-ins through tents to ensure safety.

•  Must be able to work Monday-Friday 7:30am -4:00pm. 
• MUST have reliable transportation and be able to travel throughout the State of CT (This may require daily travel>1hr away from your home)

 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to various sites (mileage reimbursement offered)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in loud environments
• Able to maintain confidentiality and autonomously with minimal direction
• Comfortable working with diverse populations
• Completion of required training and demonstration of proficiencies in skills required
