The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization.

Job Summary:

  • The Ideal candidate must have ability to demonstrate strong proficiency in all aspects of an Oracle Business Intelligence Application (OBIA) solution design, administration, configuration and deployment
  • The candidate will work with the PeopleSoft functional teams and user community in providing enhancements and solutions
  • This resource will be the SME on the Data flows between PeopleSoft to OBIA
  • Lead and guide all the design, solutions, implement, Production Support and User training activities
  • Work with various teams across the organization, clients and other stakeholders to successfully carry out the enterprise level BI solutions
  • Strong business systems and analysis experience with ability to lead functional and technical requirements definition and solution
  • Standardize systems, business processes, and data elements; and provide for seamless data exchange from feeder systems and between lines of business.
  • Should possess sound working knowledge in both RPD (repository) and ETL (Oracle Data Integrator) development, and OBIEE/Data Visualizer (DV)

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise with OBIEE 12c development and Oracle Data Visualizer (ODV), analysis, report and dashboard design
  • Assess production load failures and critical issues followed by identification of the root cause
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis to maintain transparency on work efforts and to ensure design and implementation is understood by all team participants
  • Develop functional and technical design documentation
  • Responsible for the maintenance of Production and Non-Production environments
  • Ability to quickly adapt to technology changes and support development of mitigation strategies
  • Support data conversion and integration activities when needed
  • OBIEE/ODI/OBIA Administration and configuration
  • Ability to work independently to develop solid solutions quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain and monitor the data documentation for all data warehouse and reporting formats

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
  • 7 years of experience in designing and developing end-to-end BI solutions which includes using ODI as ETL tool and OBIEE/ODV for reporting and data modelling in Oracle RPD Admin tool
  • Implementation experience of BI Apps preferably 11.1.1.X.X and huge plus to have BI Apps version upgrade experience
  • Proven experience in using ODI (11g,12c) as ETL tool, and ability to develop new and extend existing mappings
  • Ability to design, build and maintain ETL mappings and load the target Warehouse pulling data from different sources like PeopleSoft, Flat files and others
  • Must have good understanding on the knowledge modules and repository schemas
  • Lead, manage and coordinate all deliverables for design, development, testing, deployment and post-production support
  • Experience in design, architecture, configuration, development and build of RPD
  • Lead configuration and full setup of all OBIA infrastructure administrative tasks such as Patching, Downtimes and Migration activities
  • Experience in Oracle BI Apps OBIA – HR Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, Financial Analytics, Procurement & Contract Analytics and Project Analytics
  • Train other team members on OBIEE and DW concepts, new techniques and methodologies
  • Experience in data quality issues and ability to investigate and resolve data validation issues
  • Must be adaptable to changing requirements/priorities
  • Should be open to on call responsibilities
  • Familiarity with cloud-based environments is a plus
  • Should be a team player
