The Image Management Coordinator will provide mammography and breast ultrasound reporting and tracking services, time keeping data entry and reporting services and administrative assistant services as needed.

The duties will include:

Reviews mammography, breast ultrasound and breast MRI reports for patient follow-up as governed by MQSA and set forth by FDA Radiologist.
Prints, checks and sends breast imaging re-call reminder and result letters to patients as appropriate.
Checks in EPIC and documents breast biopsy results. Contacts providers for breast biopsy results as necessary.
Sends certified letters to patients that did not complete follow-up as indicated in the radiologist’s report.
Review systems (EPIC/Sectra) and daily unread radiology images and notify appropriate Lead Tech for follow up.
Provide efficient, accurate, and timely administrative support to contribute to the success of the mammographic requirements as set forth by the FDA and stipulated in the MQSA final regulations.
Performs daily and weekly timekeeping duties in Kronos & orders supplies as needed in PeopleSoft.
Other responsibilities as delegated by Supervisor/Manager.

Qualifications

Experience/Education

Graduate from High School or equivalent. 3+ years of medical terminology experience.

Preferred qualifications
EPIC use to view patient history, radiology imaging, results, appointments, etc. Prefer 6 months experience.
Sectra use to view patient imaging, results, comments and radiologist recommendations. Prefer 6 months experience.
Kronos payroll data entry for all radiology imaging departments including use of FTE reports to track PTO time use and sick/tardy/late occurrences.    Prefer 6 months experience.
