ANESTHESIOLOGY PAIN PHYSICIAN NEEDED - CONNECTICUT

Hartford HealthCare, Connecticut’s most comprehensive health system, is seeking a board certified anesthesiologist who is fellowship trained in pain medicine to join the Ayer Neuroscience Institute in Fairfield County. Our primary location is located at the Spine Wellness Center in Westport, CT - a 20K square foot outpatient clinic that includes collaborative care between pain management, neurosurgery, neurology, physical therapy, behavioral health, nutrition and integrative medicine.  The Spine Wellness Center opened in 2020 and currently houses 4 fellowship trained neurosurgeons and a pain physician, an APP and is expanding due to market demand to include this additional full-time position.

• Access in interventional radiology, inpatient services, and privileging at St. Vincent’s Medical Center a 473 bed hospital in Bridgeport, CT
• Opportunities for collaborative clinical research – sponsored clinical research underway with support of research director
• MA, RN, and APRN support
• Competitive compensation plan including a base salary
• No in-house call and no weekend coverage.

Serving the Fairfield County of Connecticut in Western Connecticut along the Long Island Sound, with town known for its top-tier schools and restaurants, located with an hour from NYC.

Westport is located just 40 minutes from New Haven and under 3 hours from Boston.

Qualifications

Board certified anesthesiologist who is fellowship trained in pain medicine

Board certified neurologist with a ACGME accredited pain fellowship
