Job Description:

The Curriculum Designer works under the direction of the Access Center Director of Quality and Training and is responsible for developing and maintaining course curricula, web based training, liaison for new and refresh course development and other supporting training materials for the Access Center. They will participate during workflow analysis, design and work with Subject Matter Experts to ensure congruity between system design and lessons plans. Responsible for building, testing, and maintaining the training environment, maintaining policy and procedure documentation related to training, conducting training for new staff, and coordinating training for software upgrades and updates. Work with subject matter expert to develop curriculum consistent with the Access Center philosophy and output.  Develop courses, instructional materials and other electronic instructional information consistent with adult learning theory for delivery through e-learning.
 

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a Healthcare environment required.
•    At least five (5) years relevant healthcare experience; experience with adult learning and curriculum delivery 
•    Preferred healthcare experience, Epic and/or medical field medical terminology training.
