Job Description

Seeking Monday-Friday coverage, variable hours from 8:00am-4:30pm (8 hour shifts), with occasional weekend and holiday coverage.

Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant or Occupational Therapy Assistant, the Physical Medicine Aide performs delegated functions as a member of the rehabilitation team by providing multi-skilled services.  This role contributes to the successful operation of the work area, and functions in accordance with all existing regulatory and company standards, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications 

High school graduate or equivalent experience required.

Strong computer skills.

Critical Success Factors   

Ability to solve problems and communicate clearly and effectively with others. Excellent customer service skills.

Minimum of 1 year work experience preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

CPR validation may be required within 3 months of hire depending upon work area specific requirement.
