Opportunity for an experienced Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to provide cardiology services in an outpatient setting in Bloomfield, CT, and also inpatient at Hartford Hospital, located in Hartford, CT.

 

Some highlights of this opportunity include:

• A medium size practice setting allowing the cardiology APP to practice within multiple cardiology sub-specialties while having the support of a cohesive team of providers, and the resources of CT’s most integrated healthcare system.
• 4 10’s between M-F with no call nor weekends!
• The cardiology physician assistant or nurse practitioner provides general office follow up’s for cardiology patients, runs stress tests, rounds on patients admitted at Hartford Hospital, provides post catheterization care, provides electrophysiology services and assists in managing the device clinic, provides congestive heart failure follow up’s, assists with diuretic infusions in the office, and acute heart failure appointments.

Qualifications

Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA), or National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is required. Cardiology experience is highly preferred.
