Duties
As a General Service Associate, you will perform a variety of cleaning and housekeeping duties which may include moving or rearranging furniture, disinfecting patient rooms, replacing supplies, vacuuming, washing, or waxing floors, emptying trash, disposing of biomedical wastes, and other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Requirements

• 1 year of previous work experience; previous housekeeping or institutional cleaning preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Ability to respond to customer needs.
• Working knowledge of floor finishing, i.e. stripping with floor machines, waxing, spray buffing and use of Hi-speed polishing equipment is helpful.
