The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization.
With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system.




Reports to the ITS BP Director or other division leader as appropriate.  May take part in customer strategy meetings to understand the business direction and goals. May also sit on the local ELT groups to understand the plans of the business group. Will assist in the discovery of ITS solutions to effectively support the prioritized business ITS problems. Assists the focus area to navigate ITS and enhance their information system solutions. Will ensure that all Intake Documentation is completed appropriately and that the reports are created on a regular cadence to inform leadership of progress.

The ITSBP Lead is the direct support for the Director and leadership and serves as a point person for Business leadership. In addition to mentoring and coaching more junior staff, they will in turn be coached by the Director to be able to serve a lead role in enabling the business to achieve their objectives.




Will have some exposure to budgeting.

Supports the Director as a Liaison with the Customer Groups. Helps to build relationships with the Business teams.

Engages in Discovery activities to understand the lift.

Collaborates with lean, clinical, informatics, business to understand the needs of the group.

Through the ITS Discovery process, work with Solution consultants, ITS and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with standards.

Collaboration with the Solution Center on the intake process and prioritization of candidate projects across the company.

Responsible to conduct periodic Quality Assurance reviews on major projects to ensure alignment with project scope, time line and resource commitments.

Oversight of Work Group specific solution portfolio, including phase-in and phase-out plans, anticipation of gaps and overlaps, and developing sound rationale for continued investments. 

Provides technical and application expertise to the Customer Group, either directly or indirectly through collaboration with ITS Solution Consultants.

Accountable to manage all requests for ITS services including consultation on completion of Intake documentation and monitoring of request status.

Rounding within the assigned Customer Group.




7 to 9 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 3 years of leadership experience and 3 years developing and executing strategic plans and/or project

Strong analytical skills.

B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Business Administration, or another related field.

Business Partner Associate Member.

Epic Certification or proficiency in at least one module to support Business Alignment.

Understanding of Enterprise technologies and where appropriate proficiencies in some of them.
