At Jefferson House we provide excellent long-term care and rehabilitation services to seniors in the greater Hartford area for over 120 years. We are comprised of a skilled and caring staff which provides seniors with state of the art Nursing Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Spiritual Services, and Social Services, aimed at caring for the whole individual
The Director of Nursing provides leadership, direction and administration of Nursing Department operations to assure Quality of Care and Quality of Life by further assuring appropriate clinical and non-clinical services are provided to residents of Jefferson House.
Have administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the functions, activities and standards of Nursing practice of the Nursing staff.
Plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Nursing Department to ensure the highest degree of quality care and quality life in accordance with all local, state and Federal regulations.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse, State of Connecticut, currently licensed
- BSN required, MSN preferred.
- 10 years+ progressive experience in Nursing administration
- Previous experience as a Director of Nursing Services preferred
- Long Term Care/Nursing Home experience required
