Through our dedicated, experienced and skilled clinicians, we provide patients and their families with the highest quality of personalized care. Programs are offered for children, adolescents and adults struggling with mental illness as well as offering services specializing in Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and Geriatric Services.


Job Summary

As a member of the SRP interdisciplinary team, the Psychiatric Clinician provides evidence-based group, individual and family therapy, case management and treatment planning for adults with schizophrenia spectrum disorders in a Recovery Model, long-term rehabilitation program.  This Clinician will lead 3-4 groups’ daily, co-leading with graduate and post-graduate trainees from social work and clinical psychology.  Supports and collaborates with research, functional rehabilitation and training initiatives conducted by members of the team and embedded Easter Seals staff.


This is a great opportunity to join an established interdisciplinary team that supports clinicians through:

    • Weekly individual supervision and coaching with program manager
    • Weekly clinical team case review meetings and morning huddles
    • Professional development and CEU opportunities including IOL Grand Rounds, CBT and Psychosis seminars
    • Opportunities to supervise social work interns and connect with colleagues through Social Work Department meetings
    • Opportunities to connect with and contribute to the IOL and BHN communities through hospital and system-wide initiatives such as Zero Suicide, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion council (DEI) and IOL Town Hall meetings.

Qualifications

  • Current Connecticut State licensed Social Worker (LCSW) or Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) required
  • Ability to meet requirements for internal credentialing in individual and group or family therapy required.
  • Experience and interest working with adults experiencing psychotic disorders
