Shift Details: Days and evenings as needed. Travel required to other HHC COVID testing sites to meet the needs of our customers

The Testing Associate will perform non-clinical tasks associated with COVID testing collection while ensuring safety and sterility.  Properly identify patients and collect swab sample either oropharyngeal swabs, anterior swabbing or Patient Self-Swabbing using knowledge of practices regarding proper methods of specimen collection.

Confirms identification of patients, controls flow of cars, and walk-ins through tents to ensure safety.

Qualifications

 High school diploma or equivalent required.

 

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in loud environments.

• Able to maintain confidentiality

• Able to follow routine verbal and written instruction

• Able to work autonomously with minimal direction

• Comfortable working with diverse populations
  
  

• Completion of required training and demonstration of proficiencies in skills required
