Job Summary
The Clinical Operations Manager (RN) is responsible for operations of the Hartford Healthcare Cancer Institute at our Torrington location to include personnel management, financial management, and operational management, as well as collaboration with staff for program development and success. The Clinical Operations manager oversees the daily operations for the Medical Oncology Practice, Infusion Center and support services. The manager will provide leadership and collaborate with the entire care team. The manager oversees the departments to ensure the workflow supports an exceptional patient experience and is obtained in safest, highest quality manner. The position also has the key responsibility to ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory standards. The manager monitors and supports key business initiatives to include growth, access to care, positive patient outcomes and service excellence along with achievements of overall short and long term goals of the departments, the organization, the Cancer Institute and the system as a whole.
Qualifications
Education
BSN required, MS preferred
Experience
Three + years management experience and prior oncology management experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
Current Connecticut RN License
Basic life support preferred
Oncology specialty certification preferred
ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy trained
