The Wound Care Coordinator will function as a case manager to a group of patients by coordinating all treatments into the total nursing care plan for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary departments and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Qualifications

 Valid CT Registered Nurse license
 Two to three years of experience in Wound Care or Burn Center preferred
 CPR Certified
 Excellent written verbal and communication skills.
 Ability to monitor patient care technicians
