Position Description
We’re currently seeking a per diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our inpatient, acute care team. Flexible scheduling.

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Complies with physician referrals to evaluate and treat patients with a variety of disabilities. Independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies and provides direct or indirect services that identify, restore and rehabilitate disorders of communication, cognition and swallowing to maximize a patient's safety and independence. Reports to Inpatient Rehabilitation Manager.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• M.A. or M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current State of CT Department of Health Services license as a Speech Therapist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Qualifications

• Working SLP experience required. Inpatient acute care experience highly preferred.
• Modified Barium Swallow study experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• FEES study experience preferred.
